HASHR support

Swap letters on a hash-shaped grid until four intersecting words lock in — daily challenges, Rush chains, and offline classic puzzles.

Getting help

HASHR is in active development. If something is not working as expected, try the common fixes below. In the app, open Settings for board theme, audio, daily reminders, How to Play, and Cody1’s other games.

For questions not covered here, email [email protected] with your device model, iOS version, and what you expected to happen.

Common fixes

  • Install the latest TestFlight or App Store build when HASHR is available to you.
  • Restart the app if audio, ads, or puzzle loading stalls on “Building your board…”.
  • Wait for the dictionary warm-up on first launch — offline puzzles appear when indexing finishes.
  • Check your internet connection for Google ads and consent prompts.
  • Toggle Daily puzzle reminder in Settings if local notifications do not fire (also check iOS notification permissions for HASHR).

How to play

  • Restore four intersecting words along the hash paths — top, bottom, left, and right. Correct words lock in green.
  • Green — letter is correct on that path. Gold — letter belongs on that word but is in the wrong spot. Plain tiles are not in that word.
  • Tap one tile, then another to swap letters (unlocked tiles only).
  • Open How to Play from Settings or the info button for the full guide.

Game modes

  • Classic — move-limited puzzles at Mini (4) through Expert (8) letter sizes. Pick a size on the home screen, then tap Play.
  • Sprint — beat the clock on a scramble.
  • Zen — no move or time limits; practise feedback and swaps.
  • HASHR Rush — chain puzzles against the clock and chase a best wave score.
  • Daily Challenge — one 5-letter board per day, same for everyone. One ranked run per day; hints mark the run as assisted on today’s board.
  • Daily Triple — three rounds (5, 6, and 7 letters). One ranked run per day.
  • Weekly Expert — one 8-letter board each puzzle week. Hints mark the run as assisted for that week.

Hints and perfect solves

  • One free hint per day highlights two tiles that make a helpful swap.
  • Extra hints may use a short rewarded video and mark Daily or Weekly ranked runs as assisted (those runs do not qualify for clean leaderboard rows).
  • Finish within the scramble budget on the results screen for a perfect solve and bonus score.

Leaderboards and achievements

  • Leaderboards in the app show your ranked Daily, Weekly Expert, and lifetime highlights (Classic level, Rush score, perfect solves). Global Game Center sync is planned when enabled in a future release.
  • Open Achievements from the header or Stats for 43 badges across puzzles, mastery, daily play, streaks, Rush, and Weekly Expert.

Ads

A banner ad may appear above the tab bar. Rewarded video ads are optional and used only when you request extra hints beyond your daily free hint. HASHR does not offer a Remove Ads purchase in the current build.
